With a positive attitude and sparkle in his eye, Akua reminds us how grateful we are to call these amazing equines our co-workers. With dinner-plate sized hooves and his impressive draft build, this handsome steed is one of our heavy lifters who allows us to accommodate every member of the family.

Hekili is a gorgeous Shire cross, who is often described as a teenager trapped in a horse suit. Arabians are known for their versatility and stamina. These beauties seem to have found the secret fountain of youth with their ageless looks and energy. Tipikai was born and raised on Kauai and shares her aloha spirit everyday as Gregg’s trusty mount, briskly walking the tropical terrain of Silver Falls Ranch!

Kanani means “the beautiful one” and boy is she beautiful. Kanani glows with intelligence and wisdom through her big brown eyes. This gorgeous buckskin mare takes children as young as seven years old through our tropical trails, as a dependable mount parents can trust. Prior to joining the SFR team three years ago, Kanani spent most of her life traversing the mountainous terrain hunting for wild boar. She has seen and done it all!

Meet our Black Beauty, Ele’ele! This handsome guy came to us from California. Ele’ele is a word that means “black in Hawaiian. His flawless resume and impeccable work ethic and sleek black coat makes Ele’ele every child’s first choice for lessons or a walk through the tropical trails of Silver Falls Ranch.

Wahine started working for Silver Falls Ranch way back in 2006. She is a big, beautiful Morgan, Percheron and Quarter horse cross. Originally from the Yosemite area of California she adapted readily to the Island way of life. Wahine is happiest strolling along the fern lined paths of Silver Falls botanical wonderland.

Meet Kid! This handsome Palomino is an all-American Quarter Horse from the famous Parker Ranch. A former “cow horse,” Kid is now Silver Fall’s “Trusty Steed” and is 16 years young. Come for a visit and you’ll likely see Kid as he expertly carries some lucky guest through the tropical botanical garden of the Namahana Crater.
