A leisurely sightseeing horseback ride with a unique Kauai destination: Silver Falls. Even the most avid horse lover enjoys a break after time in the saddle; that’s when your trusty mount delivers you to the cool refreshing mountain pool at Silver Falls. But first, there is a journey into Kauai’s heartland, magnificent views of the Makaleha mountain range, and a stroll through our tropical botanical preserve. Enjoy refreshments and snacks before plunging into the natural pool. Then mount up again for the ride back.

What to Wear
• Long pants are recommended
• Closed-toe shoes are required
• Be sure to bring a bathing suit and towel
• Maximum weight is 300 lbs. for horseback rides.
• Riders must be in strong, healthy physical condition. Health conditions, disabilities, and special needs may be accommodated but must be disclosed prior to booking, contact us for special consideration. Silver Falls Ranch reserves the right to refuse service.

Cancellations or changes to reservations must be made by telephone a minimum of 24 hours before the scheduled departure time to avoid full charge. Tours are conducted rain or shine. A Unique Corner of Paradise. Silver Falls Ranch riding trails are the lushest and most beautiful on the island. All rides begin with a riding orientation and safety briefing, then your small group, riding at a comfortable walking pace, explores this 300-acre private estate in Kalihiwai’s lush interior valley. Enjoy a ride through an 80-acre tropical garden where over 150 different species of palm trees thrive. Wind your way along the peaceful Pohakuhonu streamlined with ferns and hibiscus blossoms, or the rushing Pookaele stream that feeds our featured waterfall pool. The ranch presents a multitude of unusual flora including wild orchids. Strawberry and blueberry guavas await sampling when in season. Breathtaking up-close views of the 2,800-foot Makaleha mountain range and its secluded high valley will astonish you. All rides through this magnificent environment leave you with indelible memories of a unique tropical experience.
